GV II

House. C17 with C19 and early C20 alterations and large late
C20 additions. Some timber-frame on high brick plinth with
painted plaster or brick infill, with brick to right end.
Steeply pitched tile roof with brick cross-axial stack.
Earliest part of 2-unit plan plus further one-unit brick part
breaking forward to right.
EXTERIOR: single storey plus attic; 4-window range. Dentiled
brick cornice to right end. Central 2-storey bay under hipped
roof has 1:3:1-light pegged and leaded casements with iron
opening casements, one to each floor; large single-storey
hipped bay to left has 6-light leaded casement. 2 gabled
dormers with 2-light leaded casements above; lean-to
projection to right of 2-storey bay has a small light to right
end, to left of remains of lateral stack with C20 gabled
dormer above with 3-light leaded casement. Entrance to right
return has canopy, bay window to left has hipped roof over
1:3:1-light leaded glazing.
C20 rendered brick 2-storey, 3-window range to left has
steeply pitched tile roof and brick end stacks; later C20
single-storey with attic, 3-window, range to left end.
