Ladbrook House

GV II

Former house, now offices, on bend in a terrace. Mid/late C18.
Rendered with false ashlar lining and stone dressings, double
Roman clay tiled roof between coped gables, brick chimney
stack.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attics, 3+2 bays on slightly
different planes. Plinth, rusticated pilasters to ends and
change of plane, cornice, plain parapet sash windows, that to
upper bay 4 leaded with coloured glass. Entrance in lower bay
4, with a 6-panel door set in a "Gibbs surround" architrave
with pediment hood on console brackets, additional door to
right of bay 5 set in 3-centred arch with plain architrave and
a shaped fanlight. 4 segmental-arch roofed dormers with
2-light casement windows.
