House. c1500, 1927 front extension, 1983 rear extension.
Painted timber frame and infill panels, painted stone rubble,
painted roughcast and painted render to C20 extensions. Slate
and plain-tiled roofs. Integral stone gable-end stack with
brick shaft. Rectangular plan of 2 framed bays, one of which
is cross wing, with larger C20 extensions on each side.
EXTERIOR: single storey and attic. Set back to left of street
front is single bay of square framing 3 panels high with
ground-floor casement. Later stone stack to left return gable
incorporating probable bread oven. To right is projecting 1927
extension covering right-hand bay.
Rear: to left is framed gabled bay with square framing 3
panels high, tie beam with vertical struts, collar, and twin
raking struts. 3 glazed ground-floor panels, 2-light metal
casement above tie beam. To right is projecting c1983
extension covering right-hand bay. Left return side has square
framing 3 panels high with 2 glazed ground-floor panels.
INTERIOR: full cruck central truss with cruck spurs, ogee stop
chamfered bridging beams.
