House. C17 with later alterations. Timber frame, with stone
rubble cross wing, brick end extension. Plain-tile roof with
ashlar parapet gables, corrugated sheet covering on cross
wing. Stone end stack with stepped brick upper shaft to west
(left-hand) side, projecting and partly projecting brick
gable-end stack to east (right-hand) side. T-shaped plan with
main range and cross wing.
EXTERIOR: single storey and attic. South front with
square-framed timber frame 3 panels high, with 2- and 3-light
casements flanking central doorway with projecting porch
canopy. 2 raking dormers with 2-light casements. Cross wing
gable to left with dovecote ledges in gable end, boarded
openings below. Brick end extension to right with 2
ground-floor casements. Left return side: garage doors
inserted in side wall with raking dormer over.
