House. Mid C17, with C19 and C20 alteration and extension.
Originally L-shaped plan, but extended over rear courtyard in
C19. Painted brick; roof of black-glazed pantiles with two
brick stacks on front slope.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and dormer attic; 2-window front.
6-panelled door set to right beneath overlight with glazing
bars. One small inserted casement left. Over door is a 6/6
unhorned sash. Late C19 full-height canted bay window to left
of elevation: 2/2 and 6/6 unhorned sashes. Dormer fitted with
C20 casements.
INTERIOR: ground-floor sunk-quadrant bridging beam terminating
in jewelled tongue stops defines width of C17 principal room.
Inserted early C19 stick-baluster staircase. Rear yard built
over leaving former external cellar access now internal and
blocked.
