Small warehouse. c1890-1900. Stock brick with red brick
dressings, feature of Dutch gable to river elevation.
3 storeys, 2 bays. Street elevation with tall windows has
ground floor faced in engineering brick, hatches with metal
gangways to top 2 left-hand floors. River elevation has hatch
rank in right bay. West elevation has RSG inserted beneath 1st
floor. East elevation plain. All windows are segmental-arched
with red brick dressings and impost and sill bands.
A later example, but also with architectural character with
its Dutch gable, arched windows and lower level hatches.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Part of one of the best remaining groups of warehouses on the
Thames, rising sheer from the quay and clustering about St
Mary Rotherhithe (qv), St Marychurch Street.
