Laundry, brewhouse and office, part later timber store and
carpenters' shop serving large country house. C17, C18 and
C19. Local rubble with some granite dressings and some render;
dry slate roofs on 3 levels, the end roofs hipped. Overall an
L-shaped plan.
Single storey; wing returned to front left has symmetrical
8-window front with copies of original C18 sashes with thick
glazing bars, otherwise the openings are irregularly disposed.
Towards right is a C17 round-arched granite doorway; there are
5 other doorways to this elevation and many sashes with
glazing bars. The laundry block on the right is taller and has
3 windows to the front, including a wider window with paired
sash, towards the left.
