Pair of houses, now 1 house. Early-mid C19. Stucco with band
above ground floor; slate hipped mansard roof behind moulded
parapet; 6 segmental-roofed dormers with 6-pane sashes.
Double-depth plan with narrow wings set back at left and
right, originally a mirror-image pair with 2 front rooms and
paired central entrance halls.
3 storeys plus attic over basement; originally symmetrical
6-window front, with rusticated quoins surviving to
ground-floor left. Many original hornless sashes with glazing
bars and some horned copies, the 2nd-floor windows shorter.
Central distyle-in-antae plain Doric porch with moulded
entablature; round-arched doorway with spoked fanlight and
panelled door within porch to right, the other doorway reduced
in width and fitted with a sash.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: wrought-iron basement forecourt railings
with arrow-head finials and similar railings to porch.
