Includes: No.5 BARBICAN COURT Barbican.
Warehouse. Early C19. Plymouth limestone rubble with some
dressed quoins and brick segmental arches over the openings;
asbestos slate half-hipped roof with end on to the street.
Deep narrow plan.
4 storeys; 1-window-range front end with wide doorway to
ground floor. Right-hand return is 1:4 bays: loading doorways
in one tall opening to upper floors to left-hand bay with a
hinged iron loading bracket at top left, all above an arched
ground-floor doorway; windows to the other bays except for
doorway to ground floor of central bay and doorways to right
of this converted from former window openings. C20 casement
windows and glazed doors, the loading doorways with glazing
above weatherboarding.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to retain original floors
and roof structure.
