Villa. c1840-60. Stucco over brick with hipped slate roof and
end and rear brick stacks, that to right is tall, with
cornice; iron balcony.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement and with attic, 3 first-floor
windows. Stucco detailing includes first-floor band,
first-floor continuous moulded sill band, tooled architraves
to windows, those to ground floor have cornices on console
brackets and blocking courses, those to first floor are
round-arched, eared and shoulders, with keystones; crowning
cornice and wide eaves on modillions. 2/2 horizontal-pane
sashes, those to first floor are round-arched. Entrance to
left: flight of roll-edged steps to doorcase with pilasters
and ornate corbels surmounted by cornice and blocking course;
within a part-glazed, 4-panelled door with overlight.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: ground floor has embellished balcony on
piers.
A complete stucco facade with good iron detailing.
