Terrace of 6 houses and attached railings. c1820-30. Brick
with stucco facades and concealed roofs with brick party-wall
stacks, also stacks to ends of service ranges; cast- and
wrought-iron railings.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with basements, 18 first-floor windows (3
per house), with full-height service ranges to rear. Stucco
embellishments include platband over basement, first-floor
band, frieze and cornice with blocking course and copings;
tooled architraves to ground- and first-floor windows and
entrances. Windows: first floor has 6/6 sashes where original
(Nos 78-84), otherwise 2/2 sashes; ground floor has 2/2 and
1/1 sashes; all windows have sills; basement has 6/6 sashes
where original, otherwise 2/2 sashes; all in plain reveals.
Flights of roll-edged steps to left entrances throughout;
3-panel doors, some part-glazed, with overlights, those to Nos
78 and 80 have side-lights. Right return has blind openings.
No.88 has bay window to rear with 2/2 horizontal-pane sashes
with margin-lights.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings with stick balusters and lancets
to sides of steps.

map.
