Group of 3 headstones 10 metres SSW
of Old Church of St Germain

GV II

Group of 3 headstones SSW of tower of church of St Germain
(qv). Early C18. Sandstone. All approx 0.5 m high. (i) is
approx 10m from tower; relief decoration of vine scroll
enclosing hourglass at top on east side and eroded inscription
in large letters with clear date 26 October 1729. West side
has relief carved skull and bones and another inscription.
(ii) is 1m south-west of (i), of grey sandstone, has straight
head and moulded top corners. (iii) is 2m west of (ii), has
four large scrolls at top, and inscription dated 1731.
