Edge family chest tomb in St Mary's
churchyard

Chest tomb. Late C18. Stone. Comprises 3 separate slabs
carried on a single base articulated as 3 parallel tombs by
reeded moulding forming panels; raised moulded stone circles
in each panel, with ovals in the 2 long side panels. Inscribed
upper slabs with simply decorated borders, in memory of
Richard Edge, d.1769, James Edge, d.1802 and John Edge, d.
1806.
