Pair of shops, perhaps purpose-built as shop and dwelling.
c1830 with late C19 alterations. Brick with slate roof. 2
storeys; 5-window range, slightly angled along the street.
Inserted bow window to right of entrance, up steps with
segmental arch with lion's head keystone. 4-panelled door
recessed. Late C19 shop-front to the right, with central
recessed doorway, and panelled dado below windows which have
lozenge glazing in upper lights. Upper windows all 12-pane
sashes with painted stone flat-arched heads and sills. Heavy
moulded eaves cornice. Long wing to rear probably originally
stabling or stores.
