House and attached outbuildings

House, now a public house. Early C16, with C17 additions and
early and mid C19 alterations. Restored late C20. Coursed
rubble, close studded timber framing with plastered nogging,
stucco front, hipped and gabled plain tile roofs. 2 gable,
single ridge and side wall stacks.
2 storeys, 3 bays. L-plan. South front has a central C19 Tudor
arched doorway with overlight, flanked by single 5-light
windows with stone mullions and transoms. Above, a central bow
window flanked by single glazing bar sashes, all early C19.
West side has various blocked openings, and jettied first
floor to right.
Outbuildings, to left, have 2 blocked arches and a blocked
ventilator. Above, to left, a reset quatrefoil vent.
Jettied east gable has exposed timber framing.
INTERIOR contains the close-studded gable of the C16 building,
oak winder stair, and stud wall with rendered nogging. Ground
floor rooms have C19 vine trail plaster borders to the
ceilings.
