Terrace of 3 houses with shops. Late C18, altered C19, No 25
largely rebuilt 1985. Red/brown brick, reclaimed red brick and
colour-washed brick, hipped pantile roofs.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 6-bay front arrnaged 2:2:2. No.23 has a
late C19 shop front with central door with overlight, flanked
by 2-light shop windows, with narrow pilasters and gabled
console brackets to fascia with cornice. Above are 2 plain
sashes to each floor, the first floor ones with flat wedge
brick arches.
No.25 has a rebuilt front with timber shop front and 2 glazing
bar sashes with rubbed brick arches to each floor.
No.27, with colour-washed brick has an early C19 shop front
with central half-glazed door flanked by single glazing bar
shop windows, with narrow pilastered surround with small
carved brackets to fascia curved over shop windows. To 1st
floor 2 margin-light sashes with painted brick wedge lintels
and to 2nd floor 2 glazing bar sashes with cement stucco
lintels.
