Tomb of Frederick Yates. Circa 1840. Portland stone sarcophagus with Carrara marble effigy on top. Sarcophagus in form of massive block with raised panels on each side flanked by inverted torches, on base; upper slab bears statue of a sleeping infant with cushion. Striking fusion of severe Neo-classical masonry with late Romantic sentiment.
