House, late-C17 or early-C18 with C19 extension. Timber-framed and rendered brick, slate roof. Two cell crosswing with single bay of later extension to east. Two storeys, the extension raised from one and a half to two storeys. C20 door and metal-framed casements to south elevation of crosswing. Two-light C20 casements under cambered arches to extension. Side and rear C20 casements and fixed lights. Blocked original window to upper floor. Central brick stack, retaining bressumer to north. Chamfered joists with runout stops to north east quadrant. Upper floor north room, now subdivided, has exposed frame with arched braces to jowled posts. Chamfered door heads with possibly introduced C18 panelled doors. Clasped purlin roof partly reordered with probably C19 rafters.
