Pair of houses, now shops with offices over. Numbered right to left, described left to right. c1750s with later additions and alterations including late C19 windows and late C20 ground floor shop fronts. Pinkish-red brick in Flemish bond with stucco sills and plain tile roof with brick party-wall stacks.

Three storeys with attics to right, 3+3 first-floor windows. First and second floors have 1/1 sashes and C20 replacement windows, all flush and under cambered heads and with sills. Ground floor: shop front at left has plate-glass windows with turned mullions to angles, canted in to central C20 glazed door with overlight; end pilaster strips, fascia and cornice. At right a replacement shop front in Victorian style. To left gable end a 1/1 sash with flat arch.

INTERIOR: retains boxed beams to first floor, otherwise not inspected.

HISTORICAL NOTE: St Swithin's Street was originally known as Goose Lane.

Nos 2, 3, 6 and 7 St Swithin's Street form a group with Church of St Swithun, Church Street (qqv).
