GV II

Two houses. Late C17, altered C18 and C20.
MATERIALS: timber framed encased in painted brick, old tile
gabled roof.
PLAN: rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 chimneys with corniced heads and clay
pots. Casement windows. North (entrance) front: 4-bays. 2
centre first floor windows are 2-light; outer windows are
3-light. Windows on ground floor have segmental brick arches.
Church Cottage has 4-panelled door under gabled hood. Flax
Bourton has 6-panelled door, top 4 panels glazed, in pent roof
extension, with 4-light window on right.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
