Barn. Probably late C16 or early C17.
MATERIALS: timber framed, part weatherboard, part painted
brick infill. Old tile half-hipped roof.
PLAN: rectangular plan of 5 framed bays with central gabled
midstrey on north-west.
EXTERIOR: C20 lean-to extensions on each side of midstrey.
INTERIOR: fine quality timber frame, complete. Queen post roof
trusses, clasped purlins and arch windbraces. Jowled posts
with arch-braces to tie beams. The rafters, which are pegged
to the purlins, have holes at their feet.
