House. Early C17 extended C19.
MATERIALS: timber frame with narrow brick infill. Old tile
gabled roof.
PLAN: rectangular plan of 3 framed bays with pent roof
extension at rear and small lean-to extension at each end.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics, open eaves. 2 projecting end
chimneys, one on left, large, weathered, with narrow bricks
has been cut down. C19 or older casement windows, some with
leaded lights. North-west front has 2-bays. One 4-light and
one 3-light window on first floor, two 3-light windows on
ground floor all of different sizes. Plain, C20 entrance door
in extension at rear.
INTERIOR: principal beams exposed on ground floor with
chamfers and shield stops.
