Headstone to Rowland Prowting, St Nicholas' churchyard, south of St Nicholas' Church

Headstone. Circa 1755. Limestone headstone with shaped head containing in the upper part a panel of relief carved rococo style ornament consisting of acanthus scrolls flanking a putto with the inscription below embellished with scrollwork "In memory of ROWLAND PROWTING who Died July the 27 1755."

A good quality limestone Rococo style headstone.
