Two terraces of houses, no. 8 Dibley Street attached to the Brock Street terrace. 1974-6 by Ralph Erskine's Arkitektkontor; site architect Vernon Gracie; structural engineer, White, Young and Partners; main contractor, Shepherd Construction. Pale metric modular brick on timber frame, blue metal roofs supported on plywood box beam purlins. Two storeys, save for Nos. 7 and 9 Brock Street, which are single-storey units for pensioners or the disabled. Deep eaves. Projecting porches of brick and green timber to Nos. 1-5, 11 and 13 Brock Street, and blue timber around first-floor strip windows. Blue weatherboarding to rear, where the houses abut Dibley Square (qv) Timber windows with aluminium opening lights. Timber doors with glazed panel, some renewed in hardwood. Interiors not inspected. Front fences of green timber on brick plinths an integral part of the composition.
