Balustrade, with steps, and urns. c1727. Ashlar. Fine balustrade on retaining wall runs bounding forecourt, from south-west corner of main front to Manor (qv), with three and four panels flanking short flight of stone steps, to lower level to west. Panels divided by panelled square pedestals, carrying large stone urns. At south end, away from house, balustrade returned towards main entrance gates (qv), stopped to boundary wall.
