Three houses in row. Early C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate or pantile roofs.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys. No.26, with slate roof, has two eight-pane sashes to each floor, with central C20 gabled stone porch, to right plank door with transom light to throughway. At rear two large ashlar eaves stacks. Nos 28/30 are pair, with pantile roof, each one window, plain sashes. Old Cot has uPVC sash and C20 door, Rill Cottage has six-panel door, with further four-panel to left in continuation of main front. Square ashlar shared stack, and coped gables.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
HISTORY: A representative group of artisanal houses, probably related to the quarrying industry for which Combe Down was celebrated at this time.
