GV II

Offices with shop. Mid C19, shop of 1906, with late C20 alterations. By C. Bryn Oliver.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof not visible.
EXTERIOR: Narrow frontage tall property on four floors, with three windows, all plain sash in moulded architraves, cornices, and sill band above sunk panelled aprons. Vigorous late C19 stone shopfront surround has channelled pilasters to deep projecting brackets with a moulded cornice above plain fascia with late C20 plate glass insert. Bold moulded eaves cornice.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. Close set and large windows contrast with domestic quality of adjoining buildings. A good example of commercial work of the mid century.
