Shops with accommodation over. c1810, altered.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof not visible from street.
PLAN: Single depth plan originally.
EXTERIOR: Four storeys, five windows to whole, all six/six sashes in plain reveals. Ground floor altered c1983. No.2 has archway, No.3 has double fronted `Victorian' shop, Nos 4 and 5 have `Victorian' shops, all features c1983. Cornice with fluted band, parapet, two ashlar stacks with pots.
INTERIOR: Not inspected, but whole largely reconstructed behind facade c.1983. Elevation onto internal courtyard typical of 1980s. Parish boundary mark on wall between Nos 3 and 4.
HISTORY: Nos 2 and 3 were Seven Stars Public House until 1983. Row was reconstructed internally in c1983, by Alec French and Partners.
