Symmetrical pair of houses to left on irregular terrace set high above Camden Road. 1815.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, rusticated to first floor. Roofs and stacks to returns unseen.
PLAN: Double depth plans.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys with entrance at first floor level. Symmetrical front with entrance flanked by segmental bow windows rising the full height of the building. Flight of paired stone steps, separate for each house and flanked by wrought iron railings with wreathed ends and scroll Brackets, leads up to wide segmental arch over paired six-panel doors under shared segmental fanlight with radial glazing bars. Above, to top floor, a blind wind with painted eight/eight-pane glazing bars. Windows to bow are tripartite, with central eight/eight pane windows flanked by four/four pane side windows. Coped parapet, cornice, ground floor platband and chamfered rustication to ground floor follow contours of full height segmental bays.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
HISTORY: The date of construction is derived from the deeds. A picturesquely conceived pair of small houses terminating the southern end of this development, and taking full advantage of the south-east prospect by means of the extensive glazing, the segmental bays and the unusual raised entrances.
