Description

Circa. 1830 incorporating part of earlier mill at S.W.

Main part 4-storey 4-windows by 2, piend roofed, with square kiln at S.E., roofless lean-to on S. side formerly

containg 18' overshot wheel. Later beam engine house at E. gable. Single-storey and loft outbuilding. Original

part rubble and pantile, c.1830 work whin rubble with droved sandstone dressings, slated.

Statement of Interest

C group. The Bone mill (former item 1078) is now a complete ruin and 1625 slab is missing or buried.
