wall of lodge curved from E to N, with parapet carried over
full-height open porch at NW corner. Polished ashlar;

piended slate roof rises within parapet and has single
unusually tall diamond flue. Modern overthrow to driveway.

Statement of Interest

William Burn worked at Hoddom in 1826 but (apart from the

stack) the style is unlike Burn's. Previously listed in error as

Hoddom Castle, Visitor's Centre (Former Bridgend Lodge). The

lodge lies in a loop in the parish of boundary and not as previously thought

in Cummertrees Parish.
