Perhaps 13th century, restored some time after 1375.
Remains of 60' long 20' high rubble-built wall with postern
on steep bank of River Isla.

Statement of Interest

Edward I stayed here 1926.

In 1375 when it was granted to James de Lindsay by Robert

II it was ruin.
