Description

Dated 1887. Sir Robert Rowand Anderson, architect. Rembling
mansion, mostly 2 storeyed. Snecked red sandstone rubble
slated roof. Copper cupola at E end. Corbie-steps.
Bay-windows. Porch with segmental pediment inscribed 'MHB
1887'. Good interior, wainscotted entrance hall and
staircase.

Statement of Interest

Originally called Burnbrae House, it was residence of members

of Bruce family, proprietors of Kinleith Paper Mill.
