Description

James B Dunn, circa 1907. U-plan single storey stable court in 17th century Scots style. Harled, crowstep gables with beaked skews, slated roof; piend-roofed projecting jamb at centre on S elevation; somple piers and enclosing wall at N court entrance. Courtyard elevation: E (left) has pair of sliding doors at 2 vehicular entrances, door to left; 2 small 8-pane windows to S; single window to right at W (domestic) range, which has series of 6-pane windows (2-pane top hoppers) on outer (W) elevation and stack over wallhead at spine wall between 1st and 2nd bays. Pair catslide slated ventilators in W range; small skylights in W and S ranges.

Detached to SE, rectangular-plan jerkin roofed DOUBLE GARAGE BLOCK, contemporary, with pair of original 2-leaf boarded doors with 8-pane glazing above.
