Description

Circa 1840. Single storey asymmetrical gate lodge; harled
with tooled ashlar dressings. Irregular 3-bay front (facing
drive; canted window; flat roofed entrance porch in re-
entrant angle defined by chanelled pilaster strips; similar
definition to centre gable of 3-bay E elevation (facing
road) with centre window and with simple cornice returning at
angle to suggest pediment. Shaped window margins with
corbelled cills; 2-and 4-pane glazing; square centre and
end corniced stacks; shallow slate roof with projecting
eaves.
Gate piers; pair square chanelled ashlar gate piers with
square caps (no gates.)
