Circa 1826. Near square harled rubble stable block with
roughly tooled rubble dressings. Entrances (from road) at NW
and (to church path) at SE. Piended slate roof.
Interior; simple interior; timber ceiled roof supported by
chamfered wooden columns which also served as tethering posts
into which former trevises (partitions) were slotted
providing accommodation for 10/12 stalls.
Most unusual survival. Stable accommodation designed for
temporary accommodation of riding horses during Mass. Cobbled
floor. Building now serves as store, but still known as the
"stables".
