Description

A & W Reid, Elgin and Inverness, circa 1863. Pair single
storey and attic cottages, each 2 bays with entrance in
outer bays. Harl pointed rubble, tooled dressings, harled
flanks. Original gabled timber porches with lattice work and
decorative bargeboards; each dwelling with single wallhead
gabled dormer, also with decorative bargeboards; each dwelling
with single wallhead gabled centre also with decorative
bargeboards; centre ground and 1st floor window in return
gables; varied glazing; coped ridge stack; slate roof with
projecting eaves.
