Statement of Interest

Plans, estate office, dated 1868. The previous house (Alex

McGill 1715 plans Vit. Scot. with later S.W. wing of c. 1825)

stood lower down in the park. Sketch plans were prepared by

Walker early in 1868 for a matching S.E. wing and porte

cochere but a new house was decided on and the old completely

demolished 1872-3.
