Description

Earlier-mid 19th century. Detached 2-storey house, L-plan
with main 3-bay elevation to W with 2-storey, 2-bay wing to E
giving L-plan; main entrance to SE.
Rubble walling, polished cream sandstone angle and window
margins.
W elevation: 3-bay with paired projecting canted windows to
ground with pierced ashlar parapet. 3 single light windows to
1st grouped to centre; all sash and case with 12-pane
lying-pane glazing. Flanks have round-arched niche at 1st.
SE elevation: 2-bay with consoled pedimented doorpiece to
left; double-leaf panelled doors, fanlight. All single light
windows, glazing as above.
String course over ground; eaves cornice end skews, corniced
end stack with octagonal can slate roof.
