Description

Early 19th century. Piend-roofed, rectangular-plan, single-
storey tollhouse, L-plan range of outbuildings to N, modern
additions to S. Rubble-built with ashlar dressings;
whitewashed, with painted margins;
W elevation (excluding additions): 2 bays, bowed right bay
with door with iron lamp bracket and flanking lights, left
bay with flanking pilaster strips and one window,
latticed-glazed casements. Eaves band; central apex stack;
roof, with projecting eaves and covered with graded slates.
