Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse. Painted
rubble and margins. East elevation: pilastered central door-
case, deeply recessed panelled door with splayed reveals,
small-paned rectangular fanlight; single plate-glass sash
above, other windows 12-pane sashes. Straight skews;
corniced end stacks; roofed with graded slates. Lower rear
wing (raised to 2 storeys later in century with forestair
on west gable) projects west from north and of house, single
storey range adjoining lean-to in re-entrant angle also an
addition.

Updated drawings in NMRS to show alterations at rear show

the house with a columned porch. Steading not included in

listing.
