Description

16th century, ruin, formerly retangular plan with circular tower projecting from NW angle, only N wall with parts of return walls remain, much overgrown. Traces of courtyard with semi-circular arch on N.

Statement of Interest

Hall lintel built into steading at Kirktombarns with shield and initials DB (David Balfour) CC (Catherine Crichton) 1585.
