Description

Originally 4 storey rubble-built rectangular tower-house 29' x 17' with ground floor vaulted, and parapets and cape-house above, stairs in straight flights in thickness of walls. Probably 15th cent. in present form. Iron Yett remains. Partly rebuilt c. 1890 by Sir Donald Currie to designs of Andrew Heiton. Adapted as a residence, flat roof, 1963.
