Statement of Interest

Two schemes were submitted for the mausoleum, one Classical, one Gothic; the latter was chosen by the Abercromby family, who still maintain the buildings although the Forglen Estate has passed out of the family. The motto on the over-door armorial reads "Mercy is my Desire".
