Description

Earlier 19th century, 2-storey, 3-bay house with flanking
single storey 2-bay wings forming central U-plan court;
harled, ashlar margins. Centre door blocked; entrance to
(divided) house in outer wings. 4-pane glazing corniced end
stacks; slate roofs. Low stone coped retaining wall.

Statement of Interest

House divided into two dwellings. Recalls the influences

of farmers from southern Scotland on the early 19th century

agricultural improvements in Easter Ross.
