Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse with
basement, office addition. Snecked whinstone rubble,
grey ashlar dressings, raised margins.
Door to centre with steps and iron railings. Pilastered
doorpiece with cornice. Strip fanlight with decorative
glazing pattern.
Windows flanking at ground, 3 windows at 1st floor close
under eaves. Stair to basement doorway at right with
iron railings, light to basement at left.
Later single storey piend roofed office addition to
right, tripartite window with stone mullions. Entrance
to basement at rear, stair window above between 1st and
2nd floors. Windows to outer bays at each floor. Office
in brick, with 2 light window to basement, tripartite
above.
Irregular window pattern to gable end.
Sash and case windows; predominantly 12-pane glazing
pattern.
Grey slates, straight ashlar skews and stacks with
cornice.
