Description

Late 18th century. 2-storey, L-plan former skipper's house in irregular terrace, with crowstepped gable to rear. Harled. Eaves course.

NW (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: window to centre bay with further windows immediately to left and to outer right, 3 windows to 1st floor.

SE (SHORE) ELEVATION: dominant projecting wing to right of centre with full-height canted window and crowstepped gable.

Windows to Main Street blinded temporarily for protection. Pantiled. Coped harled stacks and ashlar-coped skews.

Property of Wemyss Properties Ltd. At the time of resurvey (1998), Wemyss Properties and Fife Historic Buildings Trust plan to restore this fine traditional streetscape.
