Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey 3-bay house with basement. Painted,
droved ashlar, margins and rusticated quoins. North
elevation: steps leading to central Roman Doric-columned
porch, panelled door with decorative fanlight; 12-pane
sashes; base course; eaves/lintel band;/cornice; straight
skews; end stacks, slate roof. Central stair turret on
north wall, with curved roof. West gable adjoins long 2-
storey range (probably former house built 2nd half of 18th
century); latter is harled, with altered opeinings; blocked
eaves at north end, curved skewputts and 2 12-pane sashes
to north gable; 2 east-facing modern garage doors; brick
end stacks and slate roof. Garden wall extends to south.
2 circular painted ashlar gatepiers at roadside are
corniced, with domed caps.
