Description

Closeburn-New Cumnock line, John Miller engineer, opened
28.10.1850; railway viaduct, 3 round arches carrying double
track over deep gully; outer vehicle arches in triumphal arch
form. Grey stugged ashlar, channelled voussoirs above
bull-faced piers; band and deep string below coped parapets.

Statement of Interest

Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle railway authorised 16.7.1846.
