Originally: Georgian, harled 2/3-storey in fall of ground
with 4-storey 3/8 bay to S. Mid Victorian period, 4 circular
corner towers added; south addition 2 corner towers taken
down and rebuilt at corners of addition, general remodelling
in super baronial manner with detail of Burnet and Campbell
school, Gillespie and Scott (of St. Andrews) archts.,
c.1930.
